As a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) I am required to meet a professional standard.
First hour session is $50 with every following hour session costing $100.

ABOUT ME
WHO I AM
Welcome to Counselling By Bonnie. With a psychodynamic training, it is believed client and counsellor is central to the counselling process and the counselling space is free of judgment and respectful.
I am a member of The Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Being a member of the ACA means I am subject to a range of professional and ethical requirements.
With my original background in high school teaching, I am particularly interested in the development of thirteen- to twenty-five-year-olds and the particular issues that commonly arise during this time. While youth counselling and young adult counselling are my passions I believe everyone should have access to counselling and will take on any age group.
My training is in a psychodynamic approach which forms the basis for my process, but is not limited to such. Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychoeducation others also inform my practice. I am very interested in Arts Therapy and how the creative process can aid the therapeutic process. I am currently interested in researching Existential Therapy in my own time. I will be happy to cater the therapy experience to your goals.

- Graduate Diploma in Counselling ad Psychotheraopy
- Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) double major in Psychology and Writing
- Bachelor of Education (Secondary) major in Drama minor in Music
